Dickson Yu doesn't regard Sisley Choi as more than friends
19 Mar – Although there is denying that the two of them have chemistry on and off screen, Dickson Yu recently stated that he and actress Sisley Choi are nothing more than good friends.
As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who spoke about the ongoing romance rumours between the two, stated that he and Sisley share similar traits and interest, which is why it was easy for them to be close friends with each other.
"But I don't think that there is any opportunity for us to develop our friendship into something more. We're doing fine at this stage. She is like a brother to me," he said.
Dickson stated that he has been in a relationship five times, with his last one - which he had prior to entering showbiz - ended due to disagreements.
"I am single now. I wouldn't dare start a new relationship. It takes a lot of time and effort to be in one and my work is currently occupying most of my time. So for the time being, I will focus on my career," he said.
When asked to list the criteria he needs in a partner, Dickson said that the ideal woman would be someone who understand his work.
"Personality is also very important. I focus more on the inner beauty than appearance. So, there is no falling in love at first sight for me," he said.
