Diane Keaton continues to be vocal about her love of Miley Cyrus.

To start off 2024, the 77-year-old actress posted an Instagram video of herself singing “Used to Be Young” — the fourth single from Cyrus’ Grammy-nominated album, Endless Summer Vacation.

“TO MY FAVORITE ARTIST OF 2023… I TRIED!” Keaton said in her caption. “@mileycyrus, YOU ARE A GENIUS!”

The video immediately caught the “Flowers” singer’s attention. “I love you so much,” Cyrus, 31, replied, ending the comment with a red heart emoji.

The Oscar winner previously showed love for the nostalgia-inducing song in August. Just days after Cyrus released “Used to Be Young,” Keaton used the ballad to soundtrack an Instagram slideshow of black-and-white photos of herself from her younger years.

In response, Cyrus left a thorough comment on Keaton’s post.

“I appreciate you deeply,” Cyrus wrote. “This is so moving and exactly why I made this song. I said throughout the journey of writing it over the last 18 months, ‘All I want is Diane Keaton to dance to it’ and this is even more magical. I love you. Thank you.”

Cyrus mentioned dancing because Keaton went viral seven months earlier for posting a video of herself dancing to Cyrus’ No. 1 hit “Flowers.”

“YOUR INCREDIBLE SONG GAVE ME A REASON TO DANCE IN MY OWN BACKYARD!” Keaton wrote in the caption of her January 2023 Instagram video.

In the new Instagram video posted ahead of Keaton’s 78th birthday, Keaton sits on a stairwell and sings, “I know I used to be crazy, I know I used to be fun. You say I used to be wild. I say I used to be young.”

Cyrus released “Used to Be Young” on Aug. 25, exactly 10 years after she released her No. 1 hit “Wrecking Ball” and took the stage for her controversial 2013 MTV Video Music Awards performance. The ballad’s lyrics reflect on her past and how she’s changed since then.

For her 77th birthday in 2023, Keaton posted a montage of birthday cakes with the caption, “HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE LOVE OF MY LIFE… ME!”
