Diana Danielle on hand-holding controversy: It was Yien's hand!

23 Aug – Diana Danielle has recently dismissed claims that she has found a new man after her divorce from Farid Kamil.

The actress recently received backlash over a photo of her holding someone's hand at a restaurant in Kuala Lumpur, which she posted on social media with the caption, "POV: you're on a date with me."

Some questioned Diana for seemingly having fun while still in iddah, while others accused the actress of jumping into a new relationship immediately after her divorce.

When asked about the photo during her appearance at the Shariah High Court in Shah Alam for custody hearing, Diana pointed to a female friend who was sitting in the driver's seat of the car, and said, "I was holding Yien's hand."

Diana and Farid were officially divorced on 10 August, several months after the actress shocked many by filing for shiqaq or irretrievable breakdown of the marriage.
