Detroit Highway Flooded as State of Emergency Declared

Michigan Gov Gretchen Whitmer visited Interstate 94 in Detroit, Michigan, on Monday, June 28, to assess the heavy flooding that submerged vehicles over the weekend, footage shows.

This footage filmed by Brendan Gutenschwager shows abandoned vehicles including a semi-truck on a flooded freeway.

Interstate 94 remained closed on Monday as crews worked to clear floodwaters, local media reported.
