Yoon Ahn is the hottest name on the fashion radar right now. The co-founder of Tokyo-based label Ambush is at the forefront of a new wave of female designers and Bulgari knows this – she’s now collaborating with the luxury brand for their famed Serpenti bag.

The limited-edition handbags and accessories collection, ‘Serpenti Through the Eyes of Ambush,’ celebrates the beauty and power of the slithering snake animal, with a vibrant colour palette and soft silhouettes.

“For this capsule collection, I wanted to express the bold and contemporary character of Serpenti. Snakes are wondrous and fascinating creatures of nature but with Bulgari they also became a symbol of glamour in constant evolution. Natural beauty meets human creation, all guided by a contemporary aesthetic,” Yoon shared.

Inspired by the Tree Python of South East Asia, a species famed for its striking, artificial-looking colours and fascinating movements, Yoon designed three new styles: the Serpenti shoulder bag, the versatile Serpenti belt bag, and the dangerously tempting Serpenti Minaudière.

In reimagining the Serpenti shoulder bag, Yoon added a top handle with a detachable strap, an accentuated shape, and chunky metallic details. The bag is made with soft Nappa leather and comes in Black, Bright Blue, Purple, and Bright Green.

Yoon also introduced the edgy and versatile Serpenti belt bag that comes with a removable belt and a detachable shoulder strap, which can be worn around the waist, as a playful crossbody or even as a stylish shoulder bag.

As for the heart-shaped Serpenti Minaudière bag, it comes in two versions – one in Black Nappa Leather and one in Aluminium.

Each bag in the Ambush x Bulgari collection is adorned with a camouflaged snakehead closure.

There are a few smaller leather goods featured in the collection including credit card holders and a three-coil Serpenti bracelet wrapped in coloured Nappa leather.
