Get ready, Upper East Siders. Gossip Girl is officially back thanks to HBO's new reboot of the series and there are some brand new faces who are ready to take over and show the original GG characters how it's done. Just when you thought no one would take over for Blair, Serena, Chuck, Nate, and the rest of our favorite characters, these new teens are ready for their big closeup. So get your fingers ready to let Gossip Girl and the rest of the world know who will be making their way to the greatest city on Earth.
Here are the cast and characters of HBO Max's Gossip Girl reboot.
Jordan Alexander as Julien Calloway
The word she is being described as is influence, which means she might be the total queen bee at Constance when we first arrive. Is she the UES' new It Girl? Looks like it might be possible.
Jordan previously starred on Sacred Lies as Elsie and appeared other shows like Rookie Blue and Unbury the Biscuit.
Savannah Smith as Monet de Haan
Monet seems to have a lot of power, according to GG IG page. And, as we already know from the original series, power = money and these kids got a lot of it. So what does her family do? Guess we'll have to wait to find out.
According to IMDB, the Gossip Girl reboot will be her first official TV role.
Zión Moreno as Luna La
Luna La or more like ooh la la. She seems to be the stylish of the group and no doubt that she will absolutely deliver throughout the series, especially with all of the incredible fashion we remember from the original.
While her character is still a bit of a mystery, Zión certainly isn't. She is a model and has recently got into acting playing the role of Fleur in K-12 by Melanie Martinez.
Thomas Doherty as Max Wolfe
His word is freedom so I guess we can call him a lone Wolfe. But freedom can also have a double meaning. Is he our brand new "lonely boy" or is he trying to free himself from something else?
The Descendants and Legacies bad boy is making his way over to the Upper East Side and it seems like he'll totally fit right in with this crew.
Emily Alyn Lind as Audrey Hope
Audrey's big hint is grace which means she must be totally used to this lavish lifestyle. While we can only speculate about her character, we know that dark secrets come out eventually in this show. So just how graceful is she really?
Emily was the first person cast in the Gossip Girl reboot and she is no stranger to the small screen. She is known for playing Young Amanda Clarke on Revenge and recently starred in Code Black as Ariel.
Tavi Gevinson as Kate Keller
They say that ambition can get you anywhere, but in the world of Gossip Girl, it can also lead you into some very sticky situations. Just what is she willing to do to get what she wants?
Tavi's character is still a complete mystery, but she's no stranger to the small screen. She recently appeared in Scream Queens and is mostly known for her theater roles in The Crucible and The Cherry Orchard.
Eli Brown as Otto "Obie" Bergmann IV
Looks like we might have found our Nate. His word is privilege and there's no bigger kind of privilege is a young white boy with a name like Bergmann and what seems to be a long family legacy.
Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists fans will certainly remember Eli as Dylan Walker, which means he'll definitely fit into the world of Gossip Girl.
Evan Mock as Akeno "Aki" Menzies
He might be the innocent one on the show, but we know that isn't going to last very long. So does this mean that he's totally new to the scene? Or is Gossip Girl going to give him the introduction that he's been waiting for?
Gossip Girl is Evan's first official acting role.
You definitely need some perspective to make it out of the scandalous world of Gossip Girl unscathed. But it also means that she might have more info about the rest of our faves. Could we possibly be Gossip Girl? Or does she just know everyone's secrets?
She was recently in The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina as Judith and starred in Apple TV+'s Home Before Dark.
The Lethal Weapon star joins the reboot in an unknown role. He is also known for his appearances in Girls, UCB Comedy Originals, and Adam Ruins Everything.
The Broadway star is making his scripted TV debut on Gossip Girl, however, don't count him out just yet. He played Tootles in Peter Pan Live! and then recently starred as Che in the Lincoln Center revival of Evita.
Adam is mostly known for his role as the original Henry in Next to Normal, Boy in Peter and the Starcatcher, and Nino in Amélie on Broadway. He's made small appearances on Veep and Elementary. His character hasn't been revealed yet.
