30 Nov – Hong Kong has chosen the Derek Tsang movie, "Better Days" as its representative film for the Best International Feature Film of the 93rd Academy Awards.

As reported on Mingpao, the news was announced by the Federation of Motion Film Producers of Hong Kong, saying that the film, which stars Zhou Dongyu and Jackson Yee, received a majority of votes in comparison to other contenders chosen from a variety of titles released from October 2019 to December 2020.

Speaking about the good news, producer Jojo Hui stated that it is an honour for the cast and crew to be selected to represent Hong Kong.

"Hopefully the passion and enthusiasm of our youth could be shared with the international audience. At the same time, I hope that in the coming year, Hong Kong film industry will create more movies that showcase the energy and strength of the young people," said Hui.
