Winter weather created dangerous driving conditions and eventually shut down roads in northwestern Oregon on Monday, January 3.
Video captured by a Clackamas County Sheriff’s deputy shows a crash that occurred on US Route 26 at 12:33 pm on Monday. The department shared the video as a “dramatic reminder to use extra caution on the mountain passes.”
“Fortunately, there were no serious injuries,” the sheriff’s office wrote on Twitter. “Chain up as needed and slow down while we ride out this bout of winter weather.”
