Kyle Rittenhouse, who shot three people during unrest in Kenosha, Wisconsin, in 2020, was acquitted on Friday, November 19, of first-degree intentional homicide and other felony charges.
Video taken by Aza Grey captured the moments leading up to the verdict announcement on Friday. Demonstrators from groups supporting Rittenhouse’s acquittal and others calling for his conviction debated verbally on the steps of the courthouse before hearing the jury’s decision.
