Police removed a female demonstrator from a protest against a government-backed bill that would restrict protesting, on March 16.
The bill that would grant police more power to impose conditions on protests and which was criticised by civil society groups as an attack on human rights, was voted through its second reading by the British House of Commons on March 16th.
Protests continued on the evening of Tuesday, March 16, following the arrest of multiple people at rallies on the night before, according to reports.
