How to make a delicious chickpea salad sandwich

Thanks for watching Its Only Food w/Chef John Politte. In this video we are showing you how to make a Chickpea Salad Sandwich. Below is the recipe: Ingredients • 1-15 ounce can of chickpeas, drained and rinsed • ½ cup mayo • 2 Tablespoon diced red onion • 2 Tablespoon diced celery • 3 Tablespoon jalapeno relish • 1 teaspoon garlic powder • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes • Salt and pepper to taste Method 1. Place the drained and rinsed chickpeas in a large bowl and mash with a fork to desired consistency. 2. Add the mayo, red pepper flakes, salt and pepper, onion, relish, celery, and garlic powder and mix well. 3. Refrigerate for at least an hour and serve on toast, bread or in a wrap. Makes 4 servings.
