Delays Expected After Power Outage Halts Flights at Austin Airport

Austin-Bergstrom International Airport warned passengers to expect delays after a power outage grounded flights on September 7.

Footage by Summer Davidson shows a lengthy security line.

The outage, which lasted more than three hours, was resolved before 8 am, the airport said.

According to the Austin American-Statesman, road closures around the airport caused “massive delays and backups” on Highway 71.
