Deer 'Take Back the Neighborhood' as Temperatures Hit Below Zero in Minnesota

Police in Minnesota joked that the local deer were “taking back the neighborhoods” while freezing temperatures, as well as the Super Bowl, kept people indoors on February 7.

Footage shared to Facebook by Centennial Lakes Police Department, in Circle Pines, shows deer frolicking crossing an empty street.

“With our temperatures sub zero, and a little football game on the TV tonight, the deer have apparently decided to take back the neighborhoods,” the department quipped in the post. Credit: Centennial Lakes Police Department via Storyful
