Debris Whirls in Air as Radar-Confirmed Tornado Touches Down in Maryland

The National Weather Service confirmed a tornado in Maryland on September 1, as remnants of Hurricane Ida caused bouts of severe weather on the East Coast.

A tornado watch was also in effect for swaths of the eastern seaboard, including New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
