Debris was ripped from buildings and lamp posts bent over as winds battered a city in eastern China. The video, filmed in the city of Jinan in Shandong Province on June 30, shows the strong winds ripping the roof off a car shed and a building's outer wall, blowing down a lamp post as well as tipping over vehicles. Pedestrians were seen struggling to walk forward on the streets. The wind speed reached around 89.3 mph, which broke the record for the highest wind speed (67.3 mph) in local history. No casualties were reported and the loss is being counted. The video was provided by local media with permission.
