A debris leftover from Hurricane Laura was set loose and blocked the road during Hurricane Delta’s landfall in Pecan Island, Lousiana, on October 9.
Delta landed in the US near Creole, Louisiana on October 9. The hurricane was reported as a Category 4 storm when it hit the Mexican coastline earlier in the week. On Friday, the hurricane was measured at a Category 2.
Ryan Darr recorded a video that showed large mobile-home-like debris being flipped over and blocking the road while wind and rain lashes its surface.
According to reports, debris from Hurricane Laura, which hit the state roughly six weeks ago, was still piled up along sides of the road when Delta arrived at Pecan Island on Friday.
