Two people were killed when trees fell on their cars in separate incidents during a severe storm in Victoria, on August 27, police said.
A 36-year-old female passenger died after a tree struck the vehicle she was in as it travelled along a highway in Fernshaw. Meanwhile, a 59-year-old man was killed after a tree fell and crushed the car he was in as he left a shopping centre car park in Belgrave.
