STORY: A team from National Disaster Response Force was at the site, according to the video feed shared by ANI, as was West Ludhiana Sub-divisional Magistrate Swati Tiwana. She confirmed the gas leak to the reporter, saying the response team was there to determine the type of gas and the source of the leak.

The video also showed police officials patrolling with masks on and asking locals to keep out of a cordoned area.
