Deadly Flash Flooding Hits Fort Worth Area
Isolated storms caused flash flooding in Fort Worth, Arlington, and other parts of Tarrant County, Texas, on Friday, June 3, killing at least one person, according to local media reports.
The National Weather Service (NWS) had warned of concerns of “minor flooding” in the area Friday evening.
This footage, taken by Chad Casey on Friday evening, shows flooded roadways and swollen creeks in southwest Fort Worth.
According to WFAA-TV, a 22-year-old man was hospitalized and later died after being pulled from a vehicle swept away by floodwaters in Arlington. Credit: Chad Casey via Storyful
