Deadly Fairview Fire Grows Beyond 19,000 Acres in California's Riverside County
The Fairview fire in Hemet, California, burned over 19,000 acres and was 5 percent contained on Thursday, September 8, according to local fire officials.
This footage was posted to Twitter by Theresa Vazquez, who said she captured it on Wednesday night from her home in Hemet. Vazquez said the incident was “extremely scary,” tweeting that “people, dogs, and cats” were evacuated, while smaller animals had to be left behind.
