Large crowds of pro-Palestinian protesters gathered in Washington on Tuesday, May 11, amid the growing Israel-Gaza conflict.
Early on Wednesday morning, the Israel Defense Forces said they had hit “significant terror targets and terror operatives” across the Gaza Strip, in response to more than a thousand rockets fired over a 38-hour period.
Gaza health officials said at least 48 people had died, while six deaths were reported in Israel.
