Dayang Nurfaizah elated over upcoming duet performance with Rossa
29 May - Dayang Nurfaizah couldn't help but feel honoured to have received an offer from Indonesian songstress Rossa to perform together at the Divas & Diamonds 2024 Concert in September.
The 42-year-old singer, who was asked about the collaboration, said that she was actually surprised when Rosa said that she wanted to work with her on stage.
"It is an honour for me when she opened the door, as we had never spoken about working together before. I want to thank her for the opportunity. It felt like a dream come true," she said.
Dayang also admitted that she was surprised to find that the Indonesian superstar even knew her or know of her music career.
"I have never performed with her. We shared a stage but we never sang together. So, when she said she wanted to do a duet with me, I got excited. She knows who I am?" Dayang enthused.
The upcoming concert will be held at Arena Larkin in Johor on 7 September. Others who will be performing at the show included Datuk Jamal Abdillah. Tickets can be acquired via ticket2u.com with prices starting from RM288.
