You might not be able to bend it like David Beckham, but you can smell like him.

The superstar soccer player and entrepreneur launched three new scents as part of The David Beckham collection, all of which are inspired by his experiences traveling the globe.

"It's very personal to me," Beckham said of crafting the new trio at a recent N.Y.C. event celebrating the launch. "With these three fragrances, it's all about my journeys around the world and different places where I've lived and different memories — I think fragrances are like that."

For Beckham, scent is very much rooted in nostalgia, and the new additions to his fragrance portfolio conjure many amazing memories.

"[Fragrance] takes you back to a moment and a great memory," he said, "for me, that's what these are all about."

Infinite Aqua, a "fresh, watery" fragrance, was inspired by Beckham "riding my motorbike down the Pacific Coast Highway and smelling the sea air."

Refined Woods is influenced by his "love of taking to the open road to explore different landscapes, cultures and cuisines."

And the most personal of the three, Aromatic Greens, is a "woody" scent that's "about the countryside in the UK," where Beckham spends as much time as he can with his family.

Beckham teamed once again with legacy beauty company Coty on the new launch, saying of the relationship: "It's more than just a partnership, it's family."

Stefano Curti, Chief Brands Officer Consumer Beauty at Coty, noted at the event that the relationship with Beckham is all about "longevity."

The star's new fragrances come hot on the heels of his documentary, which has skyrocketed to the top of the Netflix streaming charts.

He told guests at the event it was "a huge honor" for him to work with Netflix and Beckham director Fisher Stevens.

"It was a series that took me a while to come to terms with filming, and talking about my life," Beckham shared. "And ten years ago when I retired from playing soccer people asked me to do it and I wasn't really ready to look back and talk about my career and my life."

The retired soccer star, who is now an owner of Inter Miami FC team, said he "was ready to move on straight away" after retirement to focus on his business endeavors.

"But then about two or three years before the tenth anniversary of my retirement, I thought, okay, maybe this is the right time now to tell the story," Beckham explained.
