Dave Chappelle Attacked During Performance at Hollywood Bowl

A man attacked Dave Chappelle on stage during a performance at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles late on May 3.

Footage by audience member David Cardona shows Chappelle joking moments after the incident.

Local media cited police as saying the suspect, 23-year-old Isaiah Lee, had a replica gun containing a hidden blade. Other video taken later that night showed a man being loaded into an ambulance outside the venue.

Videos later showed an unharmed Chappelle continuing the show. The LAPD said Lee was arrested at 10.50 pm for Assault with a Deadly Weapon. Credit: David Cardona via Storyful
