A large fire broke out in a scrapyard in an industrial area of Sunderland, in northeast England, on July 19, fire officials said.
The Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue Service said two aerial ladder platform trucks were among the 10 “appliances” deployed to fight the blaze on Hendon Street.
James Copley, a journalist for the Sunderland Echo, said the scrapyard belongs to Hanratty’s of Sunderland.
Copley posted the footage to Twitter, saying the fire was “burning strongly”
