Dan Levy teases Schitt's Creek movie

From Cosmopolitan

Fans of Schitt's Creek no longer have to be sad about the sixth and final series coming to an end, because creator and star Dan Levy just teased an actual spin-off movie. This would be amazing.

The show won an incredible nine Emmys on Sunday [20th September]. While many the cast and crew said this was the perfect way to celebrate the show ending, Dan, who plays David Rose in the show, refused to rule out the possibility of doing more in the future.

"To be honest this is actually the best way we could have ever ended the show," he said (via Digital Spy), before hinting at the possibility of revisiting the characters one day.

"If there is an idea that ever pops into my head, worthy of these wonderful people... it has to be really freaking good at this point because this is a really nice way of saying goodbye."

He continued, "Fingers crossed that we get a really good idea coming into our heads at some point soon. But I would love to work with these beautiful people again. This has been the most incredible experience."

The comedy show (which you can watch on Netflix UK by the way) swept the floor at the Emmys. Schitt's Creek became the first series to win every major comedy series award for the same season, with Levy, his real-life father Eugene Levy, Catherine O'Hara and Annie Murphy all picking up performance awards.

Dan also won in writing and directing categories (sharing the directing award with Andrew Cividino), with the show then picking up Outstanding Comedy Series.

Surely they'll do a film. Right? RIGHT?
