Damage Seen in South Korea After Deadly Typhoon Hinnamnor Passes Through

Typhoon Hinnamnor traveled through the southeast Korean peninsula on Tuesday, September 6, leaving at least three dead and eight missing, according to local news reports.

Local news said 2,906 people were temporarily evacuated from their homes across South Korea and 66,341 residences suffered power outages because of the typhoon.

While typhoon warnings were lifted, a windstorm advisory and a storm surge advisory remained in place on September 6, the Korea Meteorological Administration said.
