A pride flag, its rainbow stripes emblazoned with the official City of Dallas seal, was raised on Thursday, June 18, in a small ceremony outside Dallas City Hall, reports said.
On Thursday morning, Mayor Pro Tem Adam Medrano read the official proclamation declaring June as Pride Month in the Texas city and unveiling the new flag. Council Member Omar Narvaez thanked Dallas City Manager TC Broadnax for the work he has done for the LGBT+ community.
