The best thing about Dairy Queen’s Blizzard of the Month is that it typically connects with the month’s holiday or season. In late-November, we got the new Peppermint Hot Cocoa Blizzard and at the end of August, we got the Pumpkin Pie Blizzard. What else could possibly work for March but a St. Patrick’s Day-inspired Blizzard? That’s why we’re excited that Dairy Queen has brought back the Mint Oreo Blizzard!

The appropriately bright green frozen treat is made up of vanilla soft-serve that’s mixed with Oreo cookie pieces, and sippable crème de menthe. Basically, it’s like if Andes Crème de Menthe were liquefied and mixed in with vanilla ice cream and Oreos. What could be better?

If you could do without the Oreos, Dairy Queen has also brought back its Mint Shake, which simply consists of vanilla soft-serve and crème de menthe, and complete with whipped topping. Grab a straw and get to sipping!

Both of these green frozen treats are only be on the menu for a limited time, just as they were in previous years. Hmm … we’re sensing a necessary taste test against McDonald’s Shamrock Shake and Oreo Mint McFlurry on the way!
