Cyclist killed following horror bus collision on Isle of Dogs in east London

A cyclist has died following a collision with a bus on the Isle of Dogs in East London, the Metropolitan Police has said.

The man, believed to be in his forties, was pronounced dead at the scene on Westferry Road near Arnhem Place in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Emergency services were called at around 12.30am after the man came off his bike.

The Met is working to locate his next of kin, and no arrests have been made. The bus driver stopped at the scene and is assisting with the investigation.

Police were also called to the Isle of Dogs in August when two teenagers were arrested after a young man was stabbed to death.
