Police seek footage after cyclist struck by 2 drivers in Scarborough dies

Toronto police are seeking security and dash camera footage after a cyclist was struck by two drivers in Scarborough and died Monday night.

A 47-year-old man was struck by a Toyota Corolla and a Mazda CX-5 while riding westbound on St. Clair Avenue E., west of Birchmount Road.

Police were called to the area shortly after 5:30 p.m. The cyclist was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries, where he was pronounced dead.

Anyone with security or dash camera footage of the area or the incident are asked to contact police. They can also submit information anonymously via Crime Stoppers.
