Curious Fish Enjoys Diver's Bubbles in Maldives
The stream of bubbles exhaled by a diver recently caught the attention of a curious fish, who enjoyed a bubble bath in the warm waters of the Maldives.
The beautiful scene was captured by Australian photographer Jules Casey, who told Storyful that she noticed the fish swimming above her buddy Milo, as the pair were scuba diving near Maaya Thila, one of the archipelago’s islands.
In the video, the fish, which Casey identified as a bignose unicornfish, can be seen circling Milo, waiting for a stream of bubbles to be exhaled before swimming through it.
“Time and time again, the fish perfectly positioned itself above my buddy’s head, then moving into the bubbles,” Casey said. “You can see the fish shiver as it exits the bubble stream, obviously enjoying the sensation.”
