Crystal Fung thinks she wasn't good enough to win an award

19 Dec – After receiving the most individual nominations at the TVB Anniversary Awards, newcomer Crystal Fung successfully bagged the award for Most Improved Female Artiste.

As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who spoke to the media after the ceremony, shared that she didn't expect to win anything despite being nominated in five categories.

Saying that she was embarrassed to win the award, Crystal admitted that she didn't think she was good enough to receive such an honour.

"I thank the company for the many opportunities given to me, and I promise to work harder in the future," she said.

Aside from the aforementioned category, Crystal was nominated in Most Popular Female Character and Best Supporting Actress for her role in "Apple-Colada", Best Programme Host, and Most Popular TV Partnership alongside Louisa Mak.

Although she previously hoped to win the last aforementioned category, the two stars lost to Edwin Siu and Raymond Cho of "Two Men in a Kitchen".
