A fire that broke out aboard a cruise ship moored at the Corfu Port Authority on March 12 has been extinguished.
Footage by Merlinda Ambojia shows the ship, the MSC Lirica, smoking in the aftermath of the blaze.
“A fire on board MSC Lirica, which seems to be originated in an empty lifeboat on deck 6, was reported to the emergency services earlier today in Corfu where the ship is currently in warm layup,” MSC Cruises’ spokesperson Luca Biondolillo told USA Today.
