After countless paparazzi photos from set and a thrilling teaser, Netflix has finally released official photos of Emma Corrin as Princess Diana in The Crown. In one of the glamorous new shots, the up-and-coming actress is the spitting image of the late royal in a purple strapless gown, matching scarf, and fluffy blonde bob. Beside her is costar Josh O'Connor, who plays Prince Charles. The duo, walking past cameras, appear to be arriving at a red-carpet event.

"You really see her turn from a girl into a woman," Corrin, 24, told Vanity Fair of Diana's story this season. "We see her before she goes into the palace, when she is living with her flatmates, and how normal she was before she was plucked from obscurity."

Netflix shared a whole gallery of new images through the Netflix Queue Instagram, including a few more shots of Diana wearing a pastel-yellow skirt suit and coming face-to-face with Camilla Parker Bowles (Emerald Fennell). As the upcoming season is set to follow the highs and lows of Charles and Diana's love story, we'll likely see more of Parker Bowles, and her ongoing relationship with Charles too.

Further new photos include images of Queen Elizabeth II (Olivia Colman), Prince Philip (Tobias Menzies), Princess Margaret (Helena Bonham Carter), and Princess Anne (Erin Doherty). Also, we get another sneek peek at Gillian Anderson as Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.

The photos arrive about a month after Netflix released the first teaser trailer for its upcoming season, due November 15. At the time, the footage didn't reveal Corrin's face, but did show a stunning reveal of the actress in a replica of Diana's wedding dress designed by David and Elizabeth Emanuel.

"We were filming the scene when you first see her in the wedding dress—I think it was Lancaster House in London—and I had a team of about 10 people helping me put it on, because it's massive," she said of filming scene. "I walked out and everyone went completely silent."
