Crowds Cheer at Queen's Platinum Jubilee Flyover
Crowds across London and the south of England were treated to spectacular flyovers on June 2, in honor of Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee.
Footage recorded by Alfie Tobutt shows the end of the airshow seen from Whitehall in central London.
Military aircraft flew in the formation of the number 70 to mark the queen’s 70 years on the throne.
The demonstration was finished by the Royal Air Force Red Arrows with red, white, and blue exhausts in honor of the colors of the Union Jack flag.
The Royal Air Force said on Twitter that up to 70 aircraft would participate in the flyover, which followed the Trooping the Colour parade and the royal family’s balcony appearance. Credit: Alfie Tobutt via Storyful
