Crowds Block Military Vehicles as Protests Continue in Myanmar

Thousands of people gathered for a second day in Yangon, Myanmar, on Sunday, February 7, to take part in a civil disobedience campaign in protest against the military takeover of Myanmar.

Demonstrators are calling for the release of ousted leader Aung San Suu Kyi and other elected officials. Many held pictures of Suu Kyi and wore red, the color of her party, the National League for Democracy.

This video, by Twitter user Aung Htet Moe, shows protestors gather outside the Shwe Dagon Pagoda. Footage also shows protesters blocking military vehicles in Yangon.
