Crews Clear Snow From Arizona Mountain Road as More Snow Expected

Crews cleared snow from a state route between Sedona and Flagstaff in Arizona on January 28, after a winter storm that dumped up to 20 inches of snow in the area had forced the road’s closure, the Arizona Department of Transportation said.

State Route 89A had been closed since January 24, but the Arizona DOT said the road was reopened on January 28.

The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory with more snow set to hit the area between Sedona and Flagstaff on January 29 and 30. Four to eight inches of snow was expected in areas above 6,000 feet in northern Arizona, they said. Credit: Arizona DOT via Storyful
