Crews Battle Kruger Rock Fire Near Rocky Mountain National Park

Crews planned to battle a growing fire near Estes Park, Colorado, into the night on November 16, hours after it was first reported.

On Tuesday evening, the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office estimated the Kruger Rock fire had grown to 133 acres, and put containment at 15 percent.

Local officials earlier issued mandatory evacuations in the “area of Little Valley and Hermit Park,” the Denver Post reported.
