Water raged under a picturesque covered bridge in northern Kentucky’s Bracken County on Tuesday, May 19, after a series of heavy rainstorms hit the area.
A flash flood warning was in effect across northern Kentucky and southern Ohio on Tuesday.
This video shows the unusually high Locust Creek rushing under the Walcott Covered Bridge.
According to local meteorologist Chris Bailey, the flood threat was forecast to continue through Wednesday, as up to three inches of rain could wallop the region through the night.
