Cowboys Help Idaho State Troopers Capture Escaped Cattle on Interstate 84

Two cowboys helped Idaho State Police capture two cattle that had escaped their pasture and were running along Interstate 84 in Caldwell, Idaho, on January 2, local media reported.

Amanda Chapman shot video of one of the cows running away from authorities in a median construction zone and charging past her vehicle on the highway.

“We’ve got some cowboys and an angry cow taking off on the freeway,” Chapman is overheard saying in the video.

Speaking to local media, Idaho State Police Sergeant Steve Farley said police were trying to corral the escaped cows for about two hours until two men showed up on horseback to help lasso the cattle into a trailer. Credit: Amanda Chapman via Storyful
