Court to rule on Prince Andrew law suit

A court hearing in Virginia Giuffre’s sexual assault lawsuit against Prince Andrew will be held in New York. Ms Giuffre claims she was forced to have sex with the Duke of York when she was only 17 and that further sexual abuse took place at the home of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein as well as the London home of Ghislaine Maxwell. The Duke has strongly denied any wrongdoing and said he cannot recall ever meeting Guiffre. Now a US judge must decide if legal papers have been properly served on the Prince for the case to progress. Giuffre’s lawyers claim the documents were handed to a Metropolitan Police officer On duty at the gates of Royal Lodge in Windsor Great Park on 27th August. Giuffre’s father Sky Roberts praised his daughter’s actions during an interview on British television. The 61-yr-old royal is currently staying at Balmoral – the Queen’s Scottish holiday residence in Aberdeenshire.
