Costume Designers & Cinematographers Set 2025 Awards Dates, Timelines
Summer is winding down, which means we’re knocking on the door of another awards season, and a pair of groups revealed their 2024-25 trophy-show timelines today.
The Costume Designers Guild will hand out its 27th annual awards on February 6 at the Wilshire Ebell Theatre in Los Angeles, and the American Society of Cinematographers’ 39th ASC Awards is set for February 23 at the Beverly Hilton. The CDGA nominations will be revealed on December 13, and the ASC noms come out January 9. See both full timelines below.

As we look ahead to the fall film festival trifecta of Telluride, Toronto and Venice, this year’s awards season will wrap with the 97th Academy Awards on March 2 from the Dolby Theater in Hollywood.
Barbie, Poor Things and Saltburn took the top film prizes at the 26th CDG Awards in February, with TV honors going to The Great, Beef, Ahsoka and others. Eventual Best Picture Oscar winner Oppenheimer took the marquee film award at the 36th ASCs in March, with TV recipients including The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and Barry.
