As if we needed another reason to buy wine at Costco, a new hack makes loading up your cart with bottles so much easier. If you've ever cringed at the sound of your wine bottles clinking against each another as they roll around in the cart, this trick is for you.
In a TikTok by @dailyoriginalvids, they revealed that a Costco employee showed them how to use the grocery cart's holes to secure their wine bottles. In the short video, the TikToker can be seen placing the stems of the bottles into the grocery cart holes so the bottles rest securely at the top of the cart. It's like a DIY wine rack.
With nearly 5 million views, the hack is making the rounds on social media, and some have even labeled it "genius."
"The employee is a genius," said one user on TikTok.
"Yes the tricks I learned while at Costco surprised me too," another person added.
There was even one gracious person who shared that if you turn the bottles around, you give the cashier easier access to scan the barcode.
There were also a ton of people who offered the friendly reminder that you can always place your wine bottles in a box instead of using the grocery cart hack.
"Or use one of the hundreds of boxes they have everywhere," one person pointed out.
