If you can't wait to decorate your home for this year's Halloween season, you're in luck. Some stores are already selling Halloween decorations—from understated sugar skull succulents to an over-the-top 12-foot skeleton. Looking for smaller, more festive skeletons that are just as creepy? Costco is selling a pair of banjo-playing skeletons that look like scarecrows.

Meant for indoor use, the animated skeletons will bring undead entertainment into your home this fall. Activated by either motion or sound, the skeletons come back to life, starting with some light-hearted banter. Then, they put their banjos to use and play ‘Dueling Banjos’ music. As they sing and strum their banjos to the music, their heads turn and their eyes light up. Yep, their eyes have LEDs, and—based on Costco's picture of them—the lights turn red.

Because of the way the skeletons are built, you can position them in a variety of ways. They have leg, knee, and ankle joints, which means the legs can be in sitting positions on a mantle, stairs, or a table. For the full banjo-playing, scarecrow-skeleton effect, you can place them on a hay bale. And you won't have to worry about propping them since they include wide bases that are stable on flat surfaces. (For reference, the skeletons 3.25 feet tall standing and about 2 feet tall sitting.)

The best part? No assembly is required. Simply plug in the connecting wire and standard outlet adapter.

The pair of festive skeletons ring in at $89.99 online at Costco.com. The skeletons shown in @Costco_doesitagain's Instagram post retail for $79.99. So you might be able to purchase them at a cheaper price point at your local store.
