Coronation Street villain Geoff Metcalfe stoops to new depths next week as he tries to regain control over his wife Yasmeen.

Geoff (Ian Bartholomew) puts an evil new plan into action as Yasmeen tries to walk out on him following some incriminating discoveries.

Upcoming episodes see Yasmeen (Shelley King) decide to head to Spain for Zeedan's wedding without Geoff. She's furious after searching through his laptop and finding emails that he exchanged with an escort agency.

After a row with her twisted husband, Yasmeen storms out and tells her granddaughter Alya that she was right about Geoff all along.

However, Yasmeen's empowering moment soon turns to horror when she finds messages from Geoff on her phone, suggesting that he might take his own life.

Geoff is playing more mind games with Yasmeen in order to manipulate her, but she insists that she has to check on him to see whether he's okay.

Joined by Alya for moral support, Yasmeen returns to Number 6 and finds a smashed photo frame on the table. There are drops of blood, but no sign of Geoff.

Yasmeen tells Alya that she now can't go to Spain for the wedding after all, leaving Alya livid that Geoff's plotting and scheming has seemingly been successful again.

Wanting to know the truth about Geoff either way, Yasmeen later calls the police and asks how she can access information under Clare's Law, which gives any member of the public the right to ask the police if their partner may pose a risk to them.

Later in the week, Yasmeen meets with two police officers and hears the full extent of Geoff's criminal past. Will she accept that she's in danger?

Coronation Street airs these scenes on Monday, April 6 and Wednesday, April 8 at 7.30pm on ITV.
