Faye witnesses the pair having a furious showdown in the ginnel.

Later, Alya is worried when Elaine is nowhere to be found. Fearing the worst, she reports her mysterious disappearance to the police, while Faye grills her granddad about his earlier row with Elaine. Geoff insists the woman is a fantasist, even going as far as telling the police his first wife his dead.

Sally is outraged and begs Tim to take his blinkers off, but he warns her not to make him choose between her and his dad. Sadly Sal could be fighting a losing battle as Geoff manages to convince Tim he merely told Elaine to stay away from his family.
