Next week on 'Coronation Street': Sharon returns, Tyrone's big mistake revealed, plus Faye's future decided (spoilers)
Rita gets a blast from the past when Sharon Gaskell turns up out of the blue, plus Hope’s behaviour is once again a cause for concern, while a verdict is reached on Faye’s actions.
It’s your full spoiler guide to next week on Coronation Street 19-23 April, 2021.
Fiz and Tyrone clash over the girls
There was a time when it seemed that little Hope Stape had inherited some of her killer dad John’s rogue genes. And the more troubled side to her personality looks set to come to the surface again in the wake of Fiz and Tyrone’s break-up.
As Ty packs the last of his things from No 9, Hope turns up having run away from school and demands to know whether he loves his new girlfriend more than her. A horrified Tyrone then accuses Fiz of turning Hope against him. But worse is to come when, during a playdate, Hope ends up attacking Joseph.

And what’s Tyrone’s response to this? Well, let’s just say his mind’s not exactly on parenting, what with him inadvertently uploading photos from a romantic night in Knutsford with Alina on to the family photo roll. Whoops!
Sharon Bentley returns
We haven’t clapped eyes on Sharon Bentley in over two decades and I don’t think any fan truly expected to see her again.

Especially not being played by Tracie Bennett who, in her years away from Weatherfield, has found herself being shortlisted for a Tony award after playing Judy Garland in the acclaimed End of the Rainbow on Broadway.
And yet here Bennett is, breezing back into town as Sharon, who reveals that she’s nominated her old foster mum Rita for a Golden Heart award. But the celebrations may well be cut short when Rita introduces Sharon to Jenny and explains that she fostered her too. Those with long memories will recall that Sharon did depart under something of a cloud in 1999, so Jenny might not welcome the fact that her ‘sister’ has dared to show her face again.
Prison for Faye?
The law rarely reaches the right decision in soapland, so I’m not holding out much hope for Faye, who would surely crumble in prison. The poor thing’s not exactly Bad Girls material, is she?
In the run-up to the big moment in court, Craig will be seen telling her that he’s going to jack in his job with the police because his relationship is more important. But Faye insists that’s not going to happen and instead tells him that they’re over. And then comes her and Gary’s moment in court – he’s given eight months for perverting the course of justice yet goes free, but what will be the verdict as regards Faye’s future?
Heartache for Nina
Café worker Nina seems incapable of experiencing happiness that lasts for more than five minutes. Take her burgeoning romance with Seb, which will go awry when she overhears him laughing at her Gothism while in the company of Ed and Paul.
Not that things are going any better for Nina’s ex Asha. She’s at the centre of an argument between boyfriend Corey and brother Aadi, who are trading insults and then blows. Expect slack-jawed shock from Dev when he arrives home in the middle of what looks like a prize fight.
