By the end of the week, an already suspicious Jenny is definitely smelling a rat. But will the truth be revealed?
Peter’s donor news
Well, it’s certainly going to be an eventful five days for Peter who, despite seeming to be on the brink of death, manages to summon up the energy to have sex with Carla in the living room. There’s no word on whether he keeps that blanket over his shoulders or if his jigsaws survive undamaged, but Steve walking in mid-session will definitely cool his ardour.
As if that wasn’t enough excitement, priapic Peter will then discover that a liver has been found for him, so he readies himself for a trip to the transplant centre. And guess who’s waiting to see him ahead of the operation? Why, it’s only Simon, who’s taken a big risk in coming out of hiding. Let’s hope he doesn’t live to regret it.
Seb is dressed to impress
After offending Nina last week, Seb tries to make up for his faux pas by donning full Goth attire and handing the café worker a funeral wreath for her birthday. But Seb’s efforts don’t have the desired effect and Nina accuses him of making a mockery of her again.
But the outrage doesn’t last long. In fact, after Nina explains how she became a Goth and what it means to her, tensions thaw and she ends up inviting Seb to move in.
Todd takes advantage
Todd’s rather ruthless approach to the undertaker business will earn the ire of his boss George.
After Todd is caught flogging pricey packages to the bereaved, he gets the sack for ripping off vulnerable customers. But following a heart to heart that sees Todd reveal a small chink of compassion, he and George agree to not just be colleagues but mates, too.
Home sweet home for Asha and Corey?
Asha’s living arrangements are coming under scrutiny as Corey explains that they’re moving into Nick and Leanne’s flat. His parents have taken over the lease, so the accommodation is all theirs. But after Dev calls round to check on his daughter, Corey is quick to tell Asha afterwards that her dad is no longer welcome.
Expect our concerns to increase further when Asha later suggests that they buy a couple of cats in order to become a proper family, only for it to become clear that Corey doesn’t share her enthusiasm. So might he be attempting to both control and isolate her?
