Character details are being kept under wraps, though we can offer a sneak peek at his debut. In the following teaser, Ben can be seen holding a book, which appears to have Offerman’s face on it. In a subsequent scene, Offerman asks Dan if he’s family, at which point Dan adopts a cockney accent and denies any relation to his fellow Conners.
In the season opener, titled “The Publisher Cops Show Pilot,” Jackie faces problems at the Lunch Box and must take advice from “an unexpected guest,” according to the synopsis. Meanwhile, Dan and Darlene embark on a trip to Chicago.
Offerman, best known to TV audiences for his turn as Parks and Recreation’s Ron Swanson, recently took home the Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series for his acclaimed turn as Bill in Season 1 of HBO’s The Last of Us. He’ll next be seen in the final season of Netflix’s Umbrella Academy.
The Conners Season 6: Everything We Know
